Delete Account

Fambuk gives you controls to delete individual posts and videos you created, or to permanently delete your entire Fambuk account. This page explains the difference, the account-deletion process, and what may happen to information after deletion.

Delete a Post or Video Without Deleting Your Account

You do not need to close your Fambuk account simply because you want to remove content you created.

Fambuk provides controls that allow you to delete individual posts and videos associated with your account. Deleting individual content allows you to continue using your account and other Fambuk features.

How to Permanently Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Fambuk account directly inside the app.

  1. Open the Fambuk app and sign in to your account.
  2. Go to your Profile Admin page.
  3. Tap the 3-dot menu and open Security settings.
  4. Open Advanced account options.
  5. Select Delete account.
  6. Enter your password.
  7. Type DELETE exactly in the confirmation field.
  8. Tap the final Delete confirmation button.
Permanent action

What Happens After Account Deletion

  • Your Fambuk account is permanently disabled.
  • You are signed out on the device after successful deletion.
  • Your profile information and applicable account data are deleted or scheduled for deletion from active systems.
  • Your posts, uploaded media and other user-generated content may be deleted or disassociated from your account in accordance with Fambuk's data-handling processes.
  • You permanently lose access to your Fambuk account, account history, saved settings and other account-related features.
Limited retention

Information That May Be Retained

Certain limited information may be retained after account deletion where reasonably necessary for:

  • Legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Security investigations.
  • Fraud and abuse prevention.
  • Handling user reports, disputes or enforcement matters.
  • Establishing, exercising or defending legal claims where applicable.

Any retained information is limited to what is reasonably necessary for those purposes and is not retained simply to keep the deleted account active.

Reports and enforcement

Deletion and Platform Safety

Deleting content or an account does not necessarily require Fambuk to immediately erase information that must reasonably be retained in connection with a safety report, abuse investigation, account enforcement action or legal obligation.

Fambuk may remove posts or videos and may suspend or ban accounts where appropriate under its safety and moderation processes.
